  • Bring your sun protection—hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen. The sun can be very strong over the water
  • Do not bring any coolers on the boat, but please leave an appropriate cooler in your car to transport your catch.
  • We have a fully stocked snack bar with deli sandwiches, hot dogs, chips, candy, water, sodas, and beer.  If you think you want to bring your own food, please bring it in a small lunch bag.
  • Prior to departure you will also be given a sheet with further instructions and fish regulations which the captain will explain that day.  Please read over this sheet as it contains information for your safety and the safety of others around you.
  • We want you to catch fish as much as you do, so please take time to listen to the advise and instructions of the captain and crew.   Remember the more you know about deep sea fishing, the better your chances will be.

Regulations, Weather, Etc.

  • There are limits on the number and size of fish that can be kept. The crew will explain this on the trip. Information regarding the current south Atlantic fish regulations can be found at the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council website or going to the National Marine Fisheries Service website .
  • If you would like to check the marine weather for our region you can visit the National Weather Service website.  You may also get the current buoy observations for our area from the National Data Buoy Center website.
  • The biggest obstacle to a great fishing day can be the weather. The captain reserves the right to cancel any trip due to bad weather, high winds or seas, or any other dangerous condition. We don’t consider rain dangerous and do run trips in the rain. In the event of cancellation before the trip, a full refund will be issued.
